MLP Group has signed a lease contract with Side Grup, the leading cleaning and hygiene product company in the Romanian market. Side Group will be relocating its operations to occupy nearly 6,000 sqm of cutting-edge space at the MLP Bucharest West logistics centre. This new facility will also be used as Side Grup’s distribution centre in Bucharest, serving its HoReCa, retail, and industrial sector customers. Out of the total space leased, 5,200 sqm will be dedicated to warehouse operations, while the remaining 380 sqm will house modern offices. The transaction was brokered by the real estate consultancy iO Partners JLL Preferred partner.

The construction of the facility, including space taken up by our new tenant, is almost finished, scheduled to be ready for occupancy by the end of this year. MLP Bucharest West is a Class A logistics & industrial park located at the ring road in Bucharest’s northwestern district of Chitila. Developed on an 18.3-hectare plot, it will ultimately provide 99,000 sqm of warehouse and light industrial manufacturing space. As part of phase one, a 22,000 sqm unit was delivered for occupancy in 2021 and is now fully leased up. Phase two was launched in May, designed to deliver about 16,000 sqm of new space by the end of 2023. Situated in the western part of the Romanian capital with excellent access to the ring road around Bucharest, MLP Bucharest West offers an ideal location for logistics and distribution operators.
