The Ploiesti plant registered a turnover of over EUR 2 M last year and losses of EUR 500,000, according to Finance Ministry data. At the end of last year the plant had 17 employees. Overall, Bianor Group has 300 employees and an annual turnover of EUR 15 M.

 

The seller is Nimbus, a company that has invested in 30 Scandinavian companies and that registers a cumulated annual turnover of EUR 1.5 bln.

 

Bianor will be incorporated in Rosti Group’s European division. The value of the transaction has not been made public and the takeover will be finalized in Q3 this year.

 

Rosti Group is a global company active in the injection moulding of plastics. The Swedish group owns plants in United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, Poland, Turkey, China and Malaysia. The group has 3,400 employees and a consolidated turnover of EUR 450 M. Phillips is one of Rosti’s clients. In its turn, Rosti is owned by the Nordstjernan Swedish investment group.
