Developed through an investment of nearly €50 million, the factory currently has three out of four production lines operational and is expected to become fully functional in the summer of this year.
Once construction is complete and the fourth production line is installed, the new factory — spanning 18,000 sqm — will reach a daily production capacity of 15,000 sqm, leading to a 30% increase in the company’s total output.
"The Bolintin Vale factory project involved the integration of state-of-the-art, high-performance equipment to support both efficiency and the development of our premium product range. We are now in the final phase of this process, with the first three lines already operational. Once the fourth line is installed, scheduled for this summer, the facility will become fully functional, contributing to Symmetrica’s growth and strengthening our position on both the local and regional markets," said Sebastian Bobu, Executive Director of Symmetrica.
In addition to the four high-tech production lines, the factory will include equipment for special treatments, surface processing, and concrete block splitting. The facility’s energy efficiency will be supported by two photovoltaic parks, which will cover around 60% of its energy needs, reinforcing Symmetrica’s sustainability goals.
The development of the Bolintin Vale factory involves an investment of approximately €50 million, financed through a combination of internal funds and bank loans.
In autumn 2023, the Suceava-based manufacturer launched several premium collections under the Symmetrica Select brand, marking an important step in expanding its product portfolio and strengthening its presence in the residential segment.
"Despite challenges in the residential sector, we are clearly seeing a shift toward higher-quality products, as consumers are becoming increasingly focused on durability, aesthetics, and innovation. This consumer behavior gives us strong grounds to expand our premium range, and our forecasts remain optimistic regarding demand for the Symmetrica Select collections. We believe this trend toward premium solutions will continue to grow, even in a more challenging economic context," added Symmetrica’s Executive Director.
With over 30 years of presence on the Romanian market, Symmetrica has established itself as a leader in the production of paving stones and concrete prefabricated elements through a sustained development strategy and continuous investments in expanding production capacity. Currently, the company operates nine production facilities for paving and concrete products, as well as one unit dedicated to industrial equipment — all supported by investments exceeding €135 million.
Last year, the company reported a turnover of RON 317 million (approximately €63.7 million), marking a 22% increase compared to 2023.
