Cushman & Wakefield Echinox coordinated the BREEAM Excellent certification process for the 550,000 sq m logistics park portfolio in Romania and Hungary, owned by eMAG, one of the largest online retailers in Eastern Europe. The certification recognizes the sustainability performance of buildings by implementing energy efficiency and environmental impact reduction measures.
CTP, the largest developer and manager of industrial and logistics space in Continental Europe, has obtained the first BREEAM Outanding certification in its Romanian portfolio for the Clubhaus multifunctional space, part of CTPark Bucharest West.
European commercial real estate developer CTP has the most environmentally-friendly industrial real estate portfolio in Central and Eastern Europe. In total, 292 CTP buildings at around a hundred different locations in six countries have confirmed their BREEAM In-Use status at the Very Good level or higher. A number of properties have reached the Excellent level. This means that the company is the greenest developer of industrial real estate in CEE and ranks among the best in Europe.
The retailer has in its portfolio a store, the office building of the headquarters and a warehouse with the highest scores in Romania, according to BREEAM International New Construction standards.
The company CTP is continuing its efforts to support permanent, sustainable development and is continuously building top-of-the-line spaces, which are presented with various noteworthy awards. It currently owns and operates five of the Top 10 industrial buildings, which have been BREEAM in-Use certified. Four of them have been given the classification grade of “Very good.”
