It will be financed through the Large Infrastructure Operational Programme (LIOP). The financing contract will be signed in the third quarter of the next year, reports local Economica.net.

 

The implementation should start in the last three months of 2017, and the first work contracts should be concluded in the first part of 2018.

 

At the beginning of December, the Transport Minister Dan Costescu said that the work on the Pitesti-Sibiu highway could start on January 1, 2017, provided that the auctions will begin in the summer of 2016.
