The Minister said that the General Master Plan for Transportation includes the modernization of 7 international airports and 10 Danube ports.

 

The transport interconnectivity between Romania’s historical regions could be solved in the next four years, Rus added.

 

The Sibiu-Pitesti section is considered a top priority in the Transportation Master Plan and will be built by 2020. The project is estimated at EUR 1.6 billion (without VAT), according to the Transport Ministry.
