”Increasing turnover in 2015 is mainly due to retail sales growth on the Scandinavian market. Moreover, we saw a revival of the projects  in Romania, which encourages our growth estimations for this year, aiming an increase up to nearly EUR 3.6 million”, has declared  Camelia Olesen, executive director of Kuma România.

 

According to the company, last year’s investment reached nearly EUR 230,000, including the expansion of the factory with two new sections (finishing and storage).

 

The company’s goals for the current year also include increasing productivity and obtaining European funds for the expansion of the production capacity and the acquisition of new equipments. Therefore, the company plans total investment of nearly EUR 800,000.

 

Starting this year the company’s products are present on the Dominican market too, the next countries targeted for the expansion being Austria, Hungary and the Great Britain.

 

Kuma Romania is a Romanian-Danish company launched on the local market in 1998, with the opening of a production unit in Câmpina. Since 2006, the company relocated Bănești (Prahova) with the completion of the first Greenfield investment with a value of EUR 2 million. (source: profit.ro)
